Before you install biometrics
Facial, fingerprint and palm data are all special category data under UK GDPR, so you need a lawful basis and usually a data protection impact assessment before rolling any of them out, and staff need an alternative if they object. This terminal supports card and fob clocking for exactly that reason. The Bioface Clock covers the same ground with a 5 inch touchscreen and QR code as an option. For an outdoor entrance or site gate, the External Bioface Clock is the weatherproof version.
