Before you install biometrics
Fingerprint data is special category data under UK GDPR, so you need a lawful basis and usually a data protection impact assessment before rolling it out, and staff need an alternative if they object. The UA760 supports card and PIN clocking for exactly that reason. Our data security page sets out how the data is stored.
How it compares
