The Speedface V3L face and fingerprint model is a weatherproof clocking terminal that takes a face, a fingerprint, a card or a PIN, so you can match the method to each person. Hours pass straight into Computime time and attendance software. It is IP65 rated, so it can go at an exposed entrance, a yard gate or a loading bay.

Before you install biometrics
Facial and fingerprint data are special category data under UK GDPR, so you need a lawful basis and usually a data protection impact assessment before rolling them out, and staff need an alternative if they object. This terminal supports card and PIN clocking for exactly that reason. Our data security page sets out how the data is stored.
