The Speedface V3L is a weatherproof facial recognition clocking terminal. Staff clock in and out by looking at the screen, with a card, fob or PIN as alternatives, and their hours pass straight into Computime time and attendance software. It is IP65 rated, so it can go at an exposed entrance, a yard gate or a loading bay.

Before you install biometrics
Facial data is special category data under UK GDPR, so you need a lawful basis and usually a data protection impact assessment before rolling it out, and staff need an alternative if they object. This terminal supports card and PIN clocking for exactly that reason. Our data security page sets out how the data is stored.
How it compares
For indoor use, the Eface 10 offers facial recognition for £395. If you want fingerprint on the same weatherproof unit, the Speedface V3L face and fingerprint model adds it for £795. The standard face capacity is 500 people, so larger sites should look at the SpeedFace-V5L, which holds 10,000.
Configured at our Leeds office and sent next day, so it arrives ready to plug in, with over 35 years of UK time and attendance experience behind it. Talk to us if you want it specified for your site.
