Clocking machine support

Set up, configure and troubleshoot your clocking terminals. These guides cover the hardware itself, whether it feeds Realtime or Syncro Connect.

Clear the attendance log (ATT.Log) on an S600C or U600C terminal by deleting the attendance data for a chosen date range. Back up to a USB stick first as a precaution.

Step 1: Open the menu

  1. Press M (Menu). You may need to log on as a supervisor.
  2. Browse to Data Management and press OK.

Step 2: Back up first (recommended)

  1. Insert a USB stick into the clock terminal.
  2. Back up to the USB stick and press OK.

Step 3: Delete the attendance data

  1. Select Delete Data and press OK.
  2. Select Delete Attendance Data and press OK.
  3. Select Delete by Time Range and press OK.

Step 4: Set the date range

  1. Enter the start time. Select the date and time to delete from, then press OK. For example, 2018-01-01 00:00.
  2. Enter the end time. Select the date and time to delete to, then press OK. For example, 2018-12-31 23:59.

Step 5: Confirm and test

  1. Confirm the deletion by selecting Yes.
  2. Press Esc to return.
  3. Test the clock by doing a test clocking.

Backing up to a USB stick before you delete means you can recover the log if you clear the wrong range. Deletion cannot be undone.

To move an S600 terminal over to Syncro Connect, first clear the existing Realtime data from the clock, then point it at the Syncro cloud server.

Step 1: Delete the existing Realtime data

  1. Press the M/OK key to open the main menu.
  2. Go into Data Manager.
  3. Select Delete Manager.
  4. Select All Data.
  5. Restart the clock by powering it off at the wall, then powering it back on.

Do not use the System Reset option. This wipes the clock completely and returns it to factory settings.

Step 2: Reconfigure the clock for Syncro Connect

  1. On the terminal, go to COMM, then Cloud Server Setting.
  2. Change the cloud server IP address to 185.161.27.156.
  3. Change the server port number to 5000.
