Landworth Electrics is an electrical contractor whose electricians work out on sites, away from head office. That makes capturing accurate hours harder than it is for a business under one roof, and it leaves managers without a clear picture of where teams are during the working day.
The company needed a way to record time accurately for a mobile workforce, give head office real-time visibility of its field teams, and make payroll accurate and efficient.
The solution
Computime supplied portable clocking terminals so electricians could clock in and out accurately wherever they were working, rather than relying on manual sheets. That data feeds straight back to head office, giving managers a live view of their teams through our time and attendance software.
Approved hours flow directly into payroll, removing manual re-keying and the errors that come with it. For teams on the move, the same approach extends to our clocking in app with GPS.
