Realtime employee portal
The employee portal is the self-service side of Realtime, our installed workforce system. Staff open it in a web browser to request holiday, check their timesheets and holiday entitlement, keep their personal details up to date, and clock in and out where their employer allows it.
What staff can do in the portal
Holiday requests
Staff request holiday from the portal and the request goes to Realtime for a manager to approve, so nobody has to fill in a paper form or send an email.
Timesheets
Staff can see their own timesheets, so they can check their hours before payroll rather than after it.
Holiday entitlement
Each person sees how much holiday they have taken and how much is left, worked out from the rules set up in Realtime.
Clocking in and out
Where the employer gives them permission, staff can clock in and out from the portal as well as at a terminal.
Personal details
Staff can update their own personal details, which saves the office keying in changes of address or contact numbers.
What it does not do
The portal does not show payslips. Pay is run in your own payroll software, which Realtime exports hours and absence to.
Logging in
Each Realtime customer has its own portal address, so there is no single login page for everyone. If you are an employee and do not know your address, ask your employer, or see our login page for help finding the right place to sign in.
Managers have their own view of their team in the separate Realtime management portal.
New to Computime?
Most new customers start on Syncro Connect, our web-based system. Staff get self-service through the Syncro Connect app on their own phone, or Syncro Kiosk on a shared tablet, from £3 per employee per month excl. VAT including the software.
