Terms and conditions for online orders
These terms apply when you buy clock cards, ink ribbons, card racks, clock card machines, bells, sirens or other goods through the online shop at computimeuk.com. They do not cover our software, which has its own agreement. Last updated 20/10/26.
1. Who we are
The shop is run by Computime Systems (UK) Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 03221489, VAT number 647691203. Our address is Unit 4 Woodside Mews, Clayton Wood Close, Leeds LS16 6QE. You can reach us on 0113 350 9043 or at info@computimeuk.com.
2. Your order
When you place an order you will receive an email confirming we have received it. The contract between us starts when we email you to say your order has been dispatched. If we cannot supply something, for example because it is out of stock or the price shown was a clear error, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid for it.
Please check that the cards or ribbon you order fit your machine. The card finder on our clock cards page lists what fits which machine, and we are happy to check by phone before you order.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and exclude VAT. VAT at the current UK rate is added at checkout and shown on your order confirmation, which also serves as your VAT receipt. Payment is taken by card through our payment provider, Stripe, when you place your order. We do not see or store your full card details.
4. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Delivery costs £9.95 plus VAT per order: for example, orders placed before 2pm on a working day are usually dispatched the same day.] Clock card machines are set up at our Leeds office before they are sent, so they arrive ready to plug in. Delivery times are estimates, and we are not responsible for delays outside our control, but we will keep you informed if something holds up your order.
Please check your delivery when it arrives and tell us within [5] working days if anything is missing or damaged.
5. Cancelling and returning an order
If you are buying as a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Tell us by phone or email within that time, then return the goods within a further 14 days. We will refund the price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving them back. You pay the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or we sent the wrong item. Clock cards must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
If you are buying for a business, the consumer cancellation right does not apply. We will still accept unused goods in their original packaging returned within [14] days, and refund the price of the goods once we receive them. Delivery charges are not refunded unless the goods are faulty or we sent the wrong item.
Before returning anything, please contact us so we can tell you where to send it.
6. Faulty goods
If something arrives faulty or develops a fault, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it in line with your legal rights. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, you can find out more about your rights from Citizens Advice.
7. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. If you are buying for a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
8. Your information
We use the details you give us to process and deliver your order and to contact you about it. Card payments are handled by Stripe. See our privacy policy for how we look after your information.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
10. Questions
If you have a question about an order or these terms, call us on 0113 350 9043 or email info@computimeuk.com.
