IT SUPPORT APPRENTICE

Computime Systems is an established company specialising in the supply and installation of time & attendance and door entry systems.

Overview:
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting a Help Desk Analyst Apprentice to support Computime’s software solutions.
This position is an excellent opportunity to work for a diverse and ever-expanding company with a lot of scope for advancement within the company.

Salary:
£15,000 per annum.

Duties:

  • Provide troubleshooting and support
  • Management of assigned tickets through our helpdesk
  • Document the nature, occurrence, and recurrence of software issues
  • Handle escalated issues by collaborating with senior analysts
  • Content building for new business
  • Working with the account managers to identify upgrade opportunities
  • Technologies used will include Microsoft, Sophos, CITRIX, SQL, Windows Systems

What we are looking for: 
Desirable skills: 

  • A basic understanding of Microsoft SQL is preferred but not essential
  • Good communicator, articulate, telephone call handling skills
  • Good people management (colleagues, customers, suppliers)
  • Able to organise time, prioritise workload and ability to multitask
  • Good basic English and Mathematics and computer literate

Personal qualities:

  • A keen interest in IT
  • Desire to learn
  • Invested in career growth

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: 8:45am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
